Hi. My name is Vicki. I am a qualified Coach with a passion for supporting and empowering women to be the best version of themselves. I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space. I believe that you know yourself and your needs better than anyone else. I listen with heart, challenge those self limiting beliefs and ask powerful questions that will help you understand yourself, your worth and reach your definition of success and goals. About me
I came across Life Coaching at a time in my life when I was beginning to feel burnt out at work. I had lost touch with my own values and strengths and at the same time was diagnosed with a chronic health condition. Coaching gave me an opportunity to understand what I wanted for my own future, to work on how to bring balance and control back into my own life whilst still being the best wife/friend/mum/colleague that I could be.
After what has felt like such a transformational and amazing experience I chose to train as a personal and career coach so that I can help others have this opportunity. Coaching has enabled me to work with some amazing women, allowing them to have the time and space to explore how to re-connect with their authentic self and take control of their future.
I know the importance of valuing my close relationships. I am a mum to 2 teenage girls, a wife and have amazing friends. I am passionate about supporting young people, especially in these turbulent times, and am a Trustee for a local charity supporting the well-being and mental health for young people and families.
I have worked for the NHS for the last 30 years as a clinical Occupational Therapist in neurological rehabilitation, leading a team and working with patients using health coaching techniques to help and support people reach their personal health goals. I have clinical expertise in chronic fatigue, sleep management, mental and physical health and wellbeing.
What is Coaching?
- Coaching is focused on the topic/issue that you would like to explore. I will give you time and space to explore this. This is a confidential space without judgement.
- Coaching will help you explore and understand the limiting mindset, fear and beliefs that hold you back, and how to move past them, to maximize your performance.
- Sessions are forward focused, not looking to the past.
- You choose how much support and challenge you want from our sessions. Some people want a safe space to talk and to be listened to, others a more challenging approach.
My three stage programme
- We will discuss your aims of the coaching and what is important to you
- We will explore ways to achieve these aims while understanding your beliefs, the impact they can have and how to overcome them
- I will support you to implement your agreed plan
Recommended
My experience is that people benefit from six, one hour sessions, however one off sessions can be arranged. Regular reviews take place throughout the sessions and I will ask you for feedback so that we can work together in the best way possible.
In the current climate the programme is offered via Zoom/Whatsapp or phone to allow you to have the session at a convenient time without having to leave the comfort of your home, however there is an option for face to face sessions based in the Central or North London areas.
